Experience Overview & Important Details:

Trek Itinerary

Day 1: Kathmandu to Besisahar Drive

We depart from Kathmandu early morning at 6:30 AM and head to Besisahar, an 8-hour drive. We’ll spend the night in Besisahar, preparing for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Beshisahar to Brathang (Apple Farm)

Besisahar to Brathang (Apple Farm) After breakfast, we share a jeep ride with fellow travelers from Besisahar to Brathang (Apple Farm), a scenic 6-hour journey. Brathang is nestled in the heart of Manang at an elevation of 2,920 meters. Overnight stay in Brathang.

Day 3,4 &5 : We will Climb 3 days continue

Climbing in Brathang offers access to three climbing sites near our hotel: The Apple Crag, Riverside Cliff, and Roadside Cliff. We will focus on climbing at Riverside Cliff in the morning and move to Apple Crag after lunch due to afternoon winds. The routes here are newly bolted and mostly unclimbed, offering an exciting challenge for climbers. We’ll repeat this climbing schedule for the first three days, allowing ample time to experience the diverse routes.

Day 6: Rest day or Hiking

Rest Day or Hike to Upper Pisang Take a rest day or opt for a scenic 3-hour hike to Upper Pisang. From here, enjoy breathtaking views of Annapurna II, Gangapurna, and Lamjung Himal. We’ll have lunch in Pisang before heading back to the hotel.

Day 7 & 8 : Climb 2 days again

Climbing Days Continue with the same climbing schedule, exploring more routes at Riverside Cliff and Apple Crag, while enjoying the stunning surroundings of Brathang.

Day 9: Brathang to Beshisahar Drive Back

After breakfast, we head back to Besisahar, then take a bus to Dumre. We’ll stay overnight in the charming town of Bandipur, known for its rich culture and beautiful views. For those seeking an extended adventure, there’s also the option to connect with the Annapurna Circuit from Brathang.

Day 10: Head back to kathmandu, Pokhara or Chitawan

On the final day, we head back to either Kathmandu, Pokhara, or Chitwan, concluding our adventure. Why Brathang? Brathang is a new and exciting climbing destination located in the beautiful region of Manang. At an altitude of 2,920 meters, it offers climbers a unique experience with newly bolted routes that are rarely climbed. By climbing here, you not only challenge yourself but also contribute to the development of climbing in the region, helping to promote Nepal tourism and support the local community in Brathang.
